Word Fixing

Dr. Happy Felix is still recording people at the Reality/Unreality Clinic, hospital or coffee house. Asked why these recordings are important? Dr. Happy Felix’s reply was: People need to feel important and listened to. When we leave the confines of this real/unreal planet earth, we all would, or most, want to be remembered. These recordings are placed in a special place and the people that did the recordings are assured that they will be remembered. Real or unreal if someone else will hear or read about them is not important. That moment for them is comforting and no one can imagine what will be recorded. Please remember that truthful stories are up to the reader and the recorder recording….. listened to or read. Like this next one by. (Strangely the names had to be changed due to laws in publishing. The people are advised of this before recording and that is fine with them. For a price one can learn their names but how does one pay an anonymous person?)

Anyway.

Judy of Enlaine: I was alive during the 100th anniversary of the Civil War. Could we change my anonymous name?

Judy of Diamonds: I was alive during the 100th anniversary of the Civil War. This anniversary was also the time of the Civil Rights War during a time of segregation. So not so many people were celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Civil War. There were reenactments of battles of the Civil War. There were also real enactments of riots during the Civil Rights war.

I am a white woman. Was born in a community of all white people. Never saw a black person except for the tv Tarzan movies and the Gone with the Wind movie. I was a teenager and all of a sudden all this Civil stuff was going on. Why? I had no clue. I did have the board game Clue, but that had nothing to do with that civil thing going on. My brother saw a black person one day and was excited. He ran up to this black person and asked him if he knew Jane. Forget Tarzan, it was Jane the male population was interested in. I myself was not interest much in Tarzan as much as his lack of wardrobe. Plus you would think once in awhile those little jungle shorts so of his would reveal some sort of peek.

Enduring this question. This black person had a sense of humor and said I wish I had a nickel for every white male that ask me this question. We talked. The black person told us to read some books that were coming out about this Civil Movement. So I went to my local Everything store downtown. The store had a great Christmas display. I found a book of poems that was published by The Black Panther Party.

Best book of poetry I ever read. It was real, insightful and honest. It was not a call to war or riot. Just people poetizing their thoughts about being black in the USA. Which my parents immediately confiscated.  Thank God they missed my pot stash.

Unfortunately the store got rid of any black books of any kind for a long long time. There were those off shoot book stores that had second hand books and a trove of good books about anything or anybody. Plus good prices on pot. So I did get to read more.

Finally one day. After shooting Kennedy, King, Malcom, and then Bobbie and those children getting bombed in that church. Things slowly changed enough to a real/unreal calm.

Change still comes in a riot or two. The riots are not the same. One riot impersonator showed off some stuff they got out of a broken business store window. That was sad. No one I knew back during the Civil Rights War was showing off new sneakers or TV’s. They were showing bashed heads, broken bones, unlivable living conditions, lack of educational schools. That did change. There is or was some sort of real/unreal segregation.

Humanity is not so humane. History in the Bible and History in history showed me that. Slavery before and after the birth of Christ. What is up with that?

Sometime in everyone’s life is the question am I a slave? Slave to be owned and worked in a cotton field or factory or office or social network of social networkers. Maybe a slave to a wife or a husband. Slave to society pressures that make rules or laws I can’t imagine are good for anyone.

That is so depressing. I’m done I need a Starbuck Coffee, and a vape.

Session One Civil stuff.
